I pray daily that the Lord do his will through me but also praythat I can follow his will with great desire. I acknowledge that as a sinful person from birth I am completely incapably of even recognizing God's will. Fortunately god gives me the gift to surrender to his will and it happens through him. Every day I pray:
Dear Lord,
Please open my heart, and mind and grant me discernment of your will and help me to have the courage to follow it. Help me to follow your will as I would sail down stream working with current. Please Lord help me to leap into your will with a joyful heart. In your ever holy name.
Amen.
